This is a beautiful Makeup Bag/ Toiletry Bag made from vintage hand stitched Kantha quilt. It has water proof lining making it ideal to store makeup and toiletries. It's also equipped with a high quality YKK zip.
Every Kantha quilt is one of a kind, we make a small handful of bags from each quilt meaning every bag will be completely unique. Due to this colours/ patterns can vary slightly.
What is Kantha?
Kantha quilts are made using numerous layers of recycled silk or cotton saris which are hand stitched in the traditional Bengal style called Kantha. What originated as a cost effect way to produce warm blankets has developed over the years into a beautiful art form, creating truly unique one off designs.
