All of our Eco-friendly photo albums are lovingly handmade by a small multi generational family business in Rajasthan, India.
Each photo album has 36 pages of Khadda paper interspersed with Protective Tissue Paper holding 240 6x4 inch photos.
Khadda paper is made from recycled unbleached cotton, a by-product of the garment industry in Jaipur ensuring a chemical free paper that provides a perfect surface for writing, drawing and painting. (Use with a fountain pen is not recommended)
The leather which these photo albums are made from is a by-product of the meat industry and is tanned using natural dyes.
We recommend using photo corners to mount photos or they can be glued in.
These photo albums age fantastically and make perfect diaries, scrap books and travel journals.
As the journals are handmade there are very slight variances in design and colour making every journal truly unique.
