This beautiful drawstring makeup bag is made from quilted vintage Silk Sari.
The Silk Sari is stitched with cotton to make a quilted material which we then make into these lovely bags. The inside is cotton lined with four smalls pockets on one side perfect for storing make up brushes and two larger pockets on the other side.
While this bags are originally designed as make up bags they also work very well as project bags perfect for storing sewing materials or example, or why not tampons?
Every Silk Sari is one of kind, we make a small handful of bags from each quilt meaning every bag will be completely unique. As these bags are made from recycled silk saris some have small signs of wear adding additional charm and individuality.
